Urgent Care Clinic
The HC Urgent Care Clinic was set up to satisfy the unmet need of providing urgent 24 hour medical and surgical services to the surrounding community outside of the busy and often terrifying atmosphere of an emergency room. Headed and supervised by an Emergency Room consultant, our group of skilled and capable general and family medicine practitioners, internists and pediatricians equipped with the latest point-of-care testing apparatus shall provide urgent and timely medical and surgical services on first patient contact.
Those who develop disconcerting symptoms in the evening when most medical clinics are closed can be managed adequately and appropriately in the clinic including;
- Respiratory tract conditions
- Urinary symptoms
- Abdominal pain
- Dehydration
- Diarrhea and/or vomiting
- Muscle sprain and strain
- Acute anxiety attacks
- Eye and ear irritations
- Minor cuts and lacerations
- Minor burns
- Animal and insect bites
- Allergic reactions
- Skin and subcutaneous infections and irritations
Life and limb-threatening conditions however including but not limited to suspected heart attacks and strokes, major trauma, significant bleeding and those with unstable vital signs shall be transported immediately and sent directly to a nearby hospital Emergency Room for proper management and disposition.
