Imaging

Equipped with the latest digital X-ray equipment, the HC Radiology Services would provide for basic radiologic imaging including;

  • Chest X-ray
  • Abdominal X-ray
  • Spine X-ray
  • Skull X-ray
  • Para-nasal sinus X-ray
  • Bone X-ray

 

Wet-reading of the radiologic images shall be made available in a timely manner to the attending clinic physicians or referred specialists handling the patients to facilitate for a speedy and efficient diagnostic evaluation.

 

The HC Ultrasound Services on the other hand shall be using a 3-dimensional ultrasound machine complete with curvilinear, linear, and phased array probes to be used for ultrasonographic evaluations of the following;

  • Upper abdomen (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen)
  • Lower abdomen (kidneys, ureter, urinary bladder, prostate)
  • Breast
  • Neck
  • Lungs
  • Heart (2D echocardiography)
  • Blood vessels (carotid artery Doppler, arterio-venous Doppler)

Well-trained technicians will gladly assist every patient in the performance of the imaging procedures while accredited radiologists and ultrasonologists will be available daily during clinic hours to conduct and interpret all radiologic and ultrasonographic images which then can be made available in hard copies on the same day of the clinic visit or electronically directly to the attending clinic physician or referred specialist and to the patients through email or SMS.

The 2D echocardiography shall be utilized by an accredited cardiologist-echocardiographer in the same ultrasonography room for the evaluation of cardiac function and anatomy.

A separate 4-dimensional ultrasound machine with a transvaginal probe shall be operated by accredited Gynecologic ultrasonologists in the Gynecology examination room for use in the evaluation of obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
