Medical Specialties
The HC Medical Clinic and Laboratory will be staffed by an almost complete line-up of medical specialists to attend to virtually every conceivable medical condition for walk-in patients or those who were referred to the clinic. Patients coming into the clinic for medical consultation will first be attended to by an accredited and experienced Internist who will act as the Triage officer.
When appropriate, patients can then be readily managed and treated by the Internist on duty or be referred to the appropriate specialist if indicated. Patient with the following complaints or conditions shall be sent directly to the concerned specialist without going through the Triage officer;
- Ophthalmologic (eye)
- Otologic (ear)
- Gynecologic (female reproductive)
- Pediatric patients (less than 18 years of age)
- Significant lacerations or burns
An almost complete roster of medical specialists shall be an integral part of the medical staff who would be made available to service the patients daily;
