Local and International Referral System

Cognizant of the need for some patients to be referred outside of the clinic for further medical and surgical management, HC Medical Clinic and Laboratory will partner with nearby tertiary hospitals and also with affiliated medical institutions in Asia including China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries to address such need. Local patient transport and even repatriation shall be organized and coordinated by the clinic for proper and timely disposition of the patients. Paramount to the patient’s welfare would be the provision of the appropriate medical and/or surgical therapeutic intervention designed for the particular clinical condition of the patient especially those with complicated or atypical presentations. Follow-up medical coordination with the specialists in the designated local or international hospitals or medical institutions shall be undertaken to ensure that the patient has been adequately taken cared of after the referral and/or transfer.
