The availability of a world-class operating theater in the HC Ambulatory Surgery Center shall be complimented by an almost complete line-up of surgical specialists to conduct “day-case surgeries” where patients are discharged at the end of the day.
Top-notched accredited surgeons will form the HC surgical staff that will include;
- Plastic and Cosmetic surgeons
- General surgeons
- Orthopedic surgeons
- Urologists
- Gynecologists
- Oto-rhino-laryngologists
Patients shall be immediately sent directly to the concerned surgical specialist without going through the Triage officer if with obvious surgical complaints like the following;
- Suspected surgical abdomen
- Significant lacerations or burns
- Significant vaginal bleeding
- Intestinal obstruction
- Ureteral colic
Upon evaluation, patients can either be surgically managed to undergo a procedure at the HC Ambulatory Surgery Center if the condition is eligible for day-case surgery or be transferred out to the patient’s hospital of choice if major surgery necessitating confinement is contemplated.
